Husky and Stihl. Kind of like Ford and Chevy when it comes to preference. The arguments go on. The best is the one you can get service and parts for locally if needed. I like to mix fuel with some Stabil in it. When done using the saw run it empty. Whatever residual fuel is left in the carb will have Stabilizer in it so you shouldn't have the gummy build up if it sits for a while. I buy Stabil at Wal-Mart in the auto department. I can get a bottle that will do 80 gallons of gas for less than $10. I use the same practice on all of my small engines 2 cycle and 4 cycle. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Some 2 cycle oil has stabilizer as a component.
I have done so much with so little for so long that today I can do almost anything with absolutely nothing.
