Good attitude, Dave.  You know what they say --The one who dies with the most toys wins.  Nobody said they had to be new toys. :)

Dave,

The pictures of the spring work and the rest of my construction are at

There aren't many but you can see the tiles set in place and the trenching for the line.
Let me know if you have any questions.

WOW!! looks great you should start a post in builders project and post there so all can see your progress. there seems to be a lot of people building that do not have a project post. it would help to show more people different ideas, and inspire those of us edging towards our own dream place. I am also going to use vinyl siding. please Start a builder post and let people see how good you are doing. We like to see people succeed. thanks Mike Barrett

Mike,

I posted to the owner builer projects section on Oct. 1.  It was only read by Glenn.  I think once a post gets off the front page over there it doesn't get looked at too much.

Actually it has been looked at 150 times. and growing, Tom.  It's just that I was the only one who posted a reply.  I posted a couple more questions there and to bring it back to the front once in a while it is good post an update even if no one has posted, since your last one. :)

Lots of times the forum gets so busy some topics don't get posted to then they go to the second or later page rather rapidly.

Some of us are busy enough that we no longer send four or five hours a day on the internet.  It's nice getting stuff done, but I do miss hours on the internet.

if you can find some old 24" well tiles they work great and cheap for a spring hole liner.

poly tanks, for a holding tank, are very reasonably priced at farm supply stores.

we use a 1500 gal poly tank for water supply at our hunting camp.

Tom,

Thanks for posting the pix.

You sure were busy with the camera, I usually get half way through a project before I remember that I should have documented it with photos.
