 ??? ??? Does anyone have any ideas on placing rafters? They are going ion a 12/in 12 roof,16 x 16 cabin.

If by that question you mean how does one calculate lengths, cuts and how does one get them up there and start framing the roof John Wagner's book House Framing is a good place to start. You can buy it through John's Amazon referral listing and help support this web forum.

This can figure rafter lengths for various pitches.

For this roof enter 95.25 and 12 for pitch.
