Are there any good online resources for plumbing?  Just want to get a feel for what might work as I'm finalizing my plans.

It is Canadian but most of it applies the same here and should give you a good overview.  Many have gone to PEX due to ease of use for water lines however some companies require you to be a plumber or contractor to use their system.  A small town supplier with time to talk to you can be a good source of information.  That is how I learned about it and I am a contractor so was able to get Uponor/Wirsbo supplies and tools.
