It was with the knowledge and approval of LBJ done by Israel as a false flag operation to blame Egypt for more US support for Israel.

Our servicemen who were the victims were told to keep their mouths shut for 20 years under the threat of court martial - same as our troops coming back from Iraq, regarding the atrocities committed there.

Current Iraq service men are threatened with 20 years in prison if they speak out.
