Hot air or Hot water

     I will be starting my camp this spring and I am planning to install some type of furnace as well as a wood stove.  Has anyone installed their own furnace and how had is it to install a hot air system?  I have installed a third loop of the hot water system in my basement, so I know how that works, but I was thinking that it might be better to install a hot air system as nothing would be there to freeze.

     I am planning to having the floor joists resting on the center beam of the basement so I can have a path for the air ducts to travel from the front of the camp to the back. I would also only have one zone in the whole camp so it seems like it would be easy project?
