Bending termite shield

OK, since termite shield is apparently nothing more than flashing, bent to a 30 degree angle, how do I do that?  Is there a shortcut that I'm not seeing?  Or is it easiest to just bend it over the edge of the wall and beat a bend into it with a rubber mallet, working my way down the length of it?
