Can ya tell me how to just have a "loft" in 3-d? I know it should be easy, but I can't see it...  thanks

I'm no expert on the SW and we aren't supporting it but I can give you a couple of hints:

Where you don't want the loft you have to build a room (the walls can be invisible) and then designate it "open to below".

For a loft to show the sloped ceiling you may have to experiment by lowering the ceiling in the room specifications and then make it invisible by unchecking "show ceiling"
