Getting ready to order my roof decking I have two options 5/8" plywood verse 3/4" T&G OSB here they are priced about the same.  I was thinking why not go with the thicker material and aviod the use of the H clips.  I will be using trusses 24" on center.  Any input would be appreciated!

5/8" CDX . With clips , way mo betta than any thickness OSB on a roof.
When in doubt , build it stout with something you know about .

I know that is not one of the choices :-[

Thanks for the input!  I ordered my next floor worth of materials they will be delivered next week.  In this order I also ordered the roof decking.  I went with the 5/8" plywood per the suggestions.  I have my trusses being designed by a local truss manufacture, hopefully I will be ready for them the week of the 4th of July.  Now if I could just find some spare time to post some pictures in the owner builder section.
