Simple Well Setup Questions

We have started the process to put a well on our property.  There are a number of factors that make us think we really only need something quite simple compared to the common Pitless adaptor, buried line, pressure tank approach.  I would like to get some feedback from the forum members as you have probably already tread this ground.

A few facts:

Ground type - fractured rhyolite, "Pliocene and Upper Miocene felsic volcanic rocks, rhyolite flows, tuffs, ignimbrites (includes Moonstone rhyolite)"
Expected water depth - 130 ft., from experience witcher and other nearby wells
Site elevation - 5880ft
Highest distributed point - 6010ft
Power source - battery bank charged by solar panels
Distribution plan - distribute water on an as needed basis to three sites about 1000ft from each other. Well located at one of the sites.
Yearly usage - March-Dec. with freezing nights possible during all but the summer months
Frost depth - 3'-4'

We have no plans to have pressurized water directly from the well at any of the three sites.  We think that pumping water from the well to a cistern/tank at each site as needed to maintain water in the tank and then providing pressurized water from the tank via an RV on-demand type pump will be sufficient.

The ground is too rocky to have frost safe distribution from the well to the three sites.  We expect that during cold months that the lines to the other sites will be drained, most likely and easily via gravity, after each tank fill.

In order to have a pitless adaptor at the well head we would have to hammer out rock down about 4ft.  We think that we can instead just bring the water out the top of the well head and run it to a manifold to direct the water to each of the delivery sites.  When the fill operation is complete we would turn off the pump and open and drain the manifold and if cold, open and let gravity drain the distribution line.

We would still need to drain the line coming from the pump down below the frost line.  It seems that a foot valve or weep hole placed in the line just below the frost line could do that automatically as long as the suction is broken at the manifold.

If the water is at the expected level we will have to lift it 130ft to the well head and then another 130ft to the highest distribution point.  Any suggestions on one pump, two pumps, type of pump?

Does this all sound feasible?  Is there a much easier solution?

Your thoughts, ideas and criticisms are welcomed.

The way you are doing it sounds reasonable as long as nothing is left to chance - maybe a pressure relief down the hole in case the pump gets left on during freezing weather  - frozen pipe could shear the pump shaft with a hydraulic lock.  There is a little rubber valve with a flap on it for a drain down valve for air pressurized tanks.  It could work for draindown.

Grundfos SQ Flex - size based on needs and panels based on needs.  Likely around 300 watts for 3gpm.  You can use solar or generator on the same wiring with a proper switch..
