Wanting a small home we can add on to later.

We need a smalll cottage house plan that we can build inexpensive for now, but later on we would like to add on to the house for addational living space, does any of these plans offer that option.

One way to do this is with the Enchilada plans - http://www.jshow.com/y2k/listings/43.html

It allows you to start with a 14' wide building and add modules of 12' and 10' widths.

Similar projects can also be done with the 20' wide cottages. You will need to do a bit more planning, of course as each possible layout will be customized a bit for your site.
