I recently dug my crawl space for my cabin and poured the footings and was wondering if I need to do anything to protect the footings from moving during the winter?  Here in Illinois it is starting to get near the freezing temperatures and I will have the footings sitting in the bottom of the crawl/hole.  Will rain water and freezing cause me any problems?

Thanks for the help
Mark
