modified Victoria full code stair

Just fooling around with putting a stair going into a basement.

My thoughts are to eliminate the bedroom wing and making that side of house the front entrance.  It would have a full length covered porch.

Out the kitchen door, replace the back porch with the 12x18, making it a mud room with a 3/4 bath, front and back entrance, washer dryer, and storage lofts.  And a full code stair servicing the basement only.

Wish I knew enough to post a graphed plan.

Can anyone add these options in a better or different way?
