I'm about to lay down my loft flooring and am searching for tips on how to draw it tight. It is open beam (no subfloor) and the wood I am using is 1 & 1/4 in. tongue and groove.

I have seen something relating to this here on the forum but as usual am unable to locate it now that I need it. Hopefully there is some method that will work where I won't have to buy a special tool.

There is several post if you do a search of Tounge & groove.  Here are just a few that I recall commenting on ( easier to find for me).  Most loft floors I believe are a little wider material when working with an open beam concept but the same principle applies. Once you get started just save a piece of scrap to use to drive and pry against.
