Very cool.  I lived on Okinawa back in the 90's.  I really gained an appreciation for how the Japanees make use space. From houses to parking, they are masters.

I love the sparcer use of whole logs.  I have never been nuts over 100% log covered homes.  It's just doesn't look good to me, not balanced.  These are much more balanced.
