Wish I could grow it up here in Minnesota...

I'm cutting WAY back.  They'll end up getting less tax $$$ out of me in the long run!
A bad day of fishing beats a good day at work any day, but building something with your own hands beats anything.

I don't think It's about money at all. I think It's all about Control. That's the biggest reason I'll grow my own. NO ONE is going to control me! They may make it inconvenient or even illegal, but I'll work around it.

Or Peter, you could quit and bootleg your crop. ;D  When I saw that they were going ahead and passing the tax, I seriously thought about trying to grow some myself even though I am deathly allergic to tobacco smoke and don't encourage anyone to start smoking.  The thought crossed my mind of SWAT teams busting people with "unregulated" crops of tobacco the way they bust folks growing weed.  Anyway, it could be a potential cash crop until someone realizes that they're not getting a few tax $$.
