NEW YORK — Burger King has launched a new men's body spray called "Flame," which it describes as "the scent of seduction with a hint of flame-broiled meat." he fast food chain is marketing the product through a Web site featuring a photo of its King character reclining fireside and naked, except for an animal fur strategically placed to not offend.

The marketing ploy is the latest in a string of virile ad campaigns by the company.

Burger King is also in the midst of its Whopper Virgins campaign that features an taste test with fast-food "virgins" pitting the Whopper against McDonald's Big Mac.

Wow.. now if they were only to come out with a fragrance that was part 2-stroke exhaust, dead fish, and coppertone lotion.  (My favorite blend of smells, reminds me of my youth on the boat docks)

" two stroke exhaust"

Ah, yes memories.......A 25:1 ratio flowing thru an old Mercury 40H engine.......with dual open exhaust stacks.    On the back of an 11 foot hydroplane....sweet  :)

Not quite dynamite, but riding one of those would get your attention!!

I like the morning smell of deisel.  But not for long as it will give you a headache when you try to walk through the blue smoke.  ;D

MountainDon

Methanol and nitromethane drag bike engine exhaust. Slightly too acrid to be truly enjoyable, but it's associated with good memories.

Methanol, nitromethane and castor oil, model  R/C race car and airplane fuel. The castor oil smell is very distinct, enjoyable. More good memories.

FWIW, nitromethane is an excellent cyanoacrylate (crazy glue) solvent. Unsticks your fingers, whatever, really well.
Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

I posted something about diesel aroma in another thread.
There is a positive side to the aroma.
It means it started!

I'm hoping to have a thousand gallons of the elixir of life here soon, Sparks.

I kind of enjoy the smell of my old carbureted poorly running Jeep sometimes.  You just don't get that smell often anymore. [crz]
