PT/PWF full basement plans?

Hi,

Are there any specific plans that would be the most suitable for a usable(as opposed to crawl-space) permanent wood foundation?

Further question:  how challenging is it to raise the main floor ceilings?  8' is a wee bit low, for me and my crew.
