Hello everyone!  I just joined these forums, and I am glad to be here.  Hopefully this isn't too random, but I am trying to buy some nice new summer bedding for my wife and I.  We like the weight of a comforter while sleeping, but since summer is approaching we want something lightweight and not too hot.  Any suggestions?

Yes I do have a suggestions.  You might take up quilting.  My wife loves to quilt, she has a huge quilt frame.  Lots of men take it up as well.  However it is not something I would like to try nor knitting.  Humm knitting a comforter!   ???  Would that be like an afghan.

Myself I think your posting is sort of spam........I am sorry if it is not I hate to be accusing some one of that.  But this is a small house building forum or cabins or well it might fit......  Hey Mt Don ....  Check this out....

Welcome to the forum, JReger...

Not sure if you are serious or not, but myself... I prefer sleeping with 2 cats and a dog... as long as the dog hasn't been in the pond again.... loves to git in that there black mud chasing those water skippers... rascal...

... come to think of it... maybe the cats is why I have been getting these little round ring thingies under my skin eh?  [noidea'

I always have been allergic to those dang cats...

Anyway... I find if I like the weight of a comforter... I just get ol' Spike to sleep on my chest... he's heavy weighing in at about 80 lbs.... that should do it... [ouch]

If I don't want so much heat or not in one spot, I roll ol' Spike off to the side and adjust the two cats as needed... Cold feet... put ol' Sassafras down there.... Neck cold... put Sheba right across it... as long as she hasn't been eating the Alaskan Salmon Pate.... that gives her carrion breath and for some reason... hellacious gas.... whew... go brush your teeth girl, and warn me when you have to do that again... but she's old and has a bad digestive tract... so she can't help it....  :o

Anyway... when it comes to staying warm... I'm your man.. I know all of the tricks... just ask... See you around the site, eh mate?  ... [waiting]

I'm with you Glenn, there is nothing like a cat to keep you warm. except for when the little bugger starts walking accross the bleeping keyboard while I am trying to type this arrgh! Actually, to be fair to Thor, he usually doesn't step on the keys, but he does stick his tail in my face on the way by......
