I bought 5 new game cameras this week (Cheap ones for general security and game monitoring).
I don't like using C cells. Even the rechargeable are expensive to use considering the initial cost and life expectancy.

I've gotten away from Gel cells because the charging cycle is a little complicated and have been moving everything to AGM's lately, even the smaller solar banks.

I went to Batteries Plus to check prices and the fellow working there has to be the snottiest human I've seen for years. Abrasive doesn't start to describe him...plus the prices were unbelievable. $20,00 for 4.5 amp AGM's.

I came home and checked the net and found this place:

They have the very same Powersonic BP wanted $20.00 for...for $8.54. Shipping was a concern because of the weight but they ship free for orders over $75.00. I wanted two for each camera so all I had to do was swap the battery and SD Card so it only cost $85.40.

I like to buy locally when possible but am not going to be gouged and treated rudely at the same time.

Good grief those are huge batteries!  You use them with your game cameras?  How do you keep the batteries from being stolen?

BTW, which cameras are you buying?  I could use some cheaper ones for security.......

I don't have any trouble with thieves. I'm way out in the sticks and dog hunters know I have a lot of cameras and a real nasty disposition.

These are the cameras but Bass Pro has them on sale for $59.00.
