File 2 - 5 page solar strategy booklet describes simple passive and sun tempered techniques for low-cost solar utilization. Has a chart of 8 Climate appropriate techniques for heating and cooling using solar and other natural energy forces.
File 3 - "Using the Inclinometer for Simple Surveying." 2 page tip sheet shows how to use the inclinometer you made in the first part of the kit to get an idea of the slope of your building site and how deep a foundation might be needed at each corner. Also has a chart for estimating the height of trees and buildings.
