Apollo 11

Hi Folks,

48 years ago today we heard Neil Armstrong say.......
"One small step for man.....A giant leap for mankind"

I was only 15 at that time......what a wonderful thing to see, even it was in black and white.

And when will we go back......and who will it be??

Do you remember where you were that day?

S
My vessel is so small....the seas so vast......

Its a shame we abandoned the moon.  That must have been quite the event, being born in 1971 I was too late for it.
I do hope the Mars One colony goes to plan and I get to see that.  I think it would be awesome... similar to how you must have felt that day.

Sitting in the living room recording it all on a little reel to reel.
I miss Walter Cronkite.
