Title: Guns as tools...
Post by: fishing_guy on December 20, 2010, 06:52:28 PM
As you may have heard, our beloved sports dome here in the Twin Cities ripped it's roof last week.  The remaining roof posed a hazard for the workers.

What to do when you can't reach the dangerous panels?...

That works for me.

I have another tool use for them too.  Dog training.

Our dogs forgot they were not to chase or bark at our cows.  A few blasts of the 12 gauge near to them serves as a great training tool.  :)

on my rain barrels I fabricated lids to allow water in without creating large holes for critters.    I didn't want to use a mesh or hardware cloth.  yup, #8 shot from my 12 gauge.  works just dandy 3 years later.
