We lost our collie this summer, and we were missing a dog pretty fiercly. My kids were suprised when I brought this home the other night. It's been a tough few nights, but they are getting better. She seems to be pretty smart.
Suggestions for a name? No more than two syllables. Leading contenders are Faith, Amber, Credence (Creede),Strudel, Becky, Aspen, Katy. I like Chloe, but that sounds too much like "no". Faith might sound too much like "stay".
9 weeks old today! Getting a bath is clearly exhausting work.

StinkerBell! or Stinky! Bella! any :)
good for the both of you. Beautiful looking pup; my vote for the name: lucky
Adorable dog. I agree with Red... I like Nugget. We had a dog by that name when I was a kid; great dog. She could also be a Sadie, I think, or maybe a Goldie?
She seems like a really smart dog. We've started clicker training with her, as she has already associated the sound of a cellophane bag crinkling with a treat. We've had her a week, she's only had one accident in the house and whines at the door when she has to go out. I'm not sure how she figured that out on her own. This morning she was hungry before it was time to be fed, and she carried her bowl up to my wife. Last night was not bad. She whined a little, but settled down pretty quick, took her potty break at 2am and went right back to sleep.
Maybe "dammit" . . . Like, come here, dammit! d*
Ok, maybe not . . .

Nice addition to the family Shooter. She will still be there at your side when your daughters leave home.
Obviously, from the first picture, her name should be 'Killer'.
