Title: hay bales for construction site run off protection ?
Post by: ovidgsd on August 31, 2010, 10:06:45 AM
I also need hay bales for construction site run off protection and I have no idea where to get those!

I'm live on the MA / NH border near Nashua NH

Does anyone have a referal for me on where I can pick up this needed material?

I've been searching on line for both of these supplies and impossible to find - I don't understand why it would be so difficult - they seem so common...........................

Straw would be better.  I don't know much about NH but here is a search for your area.

Ok, straw , sure ! ;)  Honestly, I never used this before but I should put it around the excevation site just to be sure (not required by my code / permit on this specific job)

It is good for preventing winter mud runoff.

I screwed up the first link above, and modified it - You should now find straw bales near Nashua if you try it again.
