Post by: Sod Breaker on February 14, 2010, 11:00:09 PM
Anyone know how to convert a .DC (CAD) file to an image file like JPEG or GIF.

Thanks,

I'm not familiar with CAD but I do know a sure fire way is to take a screen shot. On a PC you push Print Screen button on the keyboard then it's copied to the clipboard, then you have to paste it into a graphics program like Photoshop or a knockoff.

Gadwin Printscreen is free and can be configured to print a rectangular area.  That is my favorite program for that - thanks to Daddymem who told me of it.

Look and see if the CAD program has an "Export" or "Save As" function.  That is normally the best way to get maximum details.
