Hot off the press!
This video is a response to three different requests from people:
1) "I didn't see how the roof was built in the rumford video" - this video has footage immediately after that, the structure is similar and there is a lot more of looking at it.
2) I have a lot of cedar, what might I make of it? There are at least three amazing things in this video to answer that.
3) "I would have liked to have seen a lot more of that ecovillage."

Have fun!
Thanks Paul.
Interesting stuff as usual. Now Poppy can see what he can do with his tree stump.
Personally I didn't think that your video was that crappy. :)
Even people who are poor as dirt should be able to figure out how to have shelter from that.
Glenn,
Just for you, I'm gathering up my footage of oehler's ridgetop house .... it will be next.
Thanks, Paul. I'm looking forward to seeing it. :)

Well I guess I have to admit that I reviewed this video and saw the chair carved out of the stump. Nice work there, but I don't have the talent or patience for that kind of stuff.
The future for my stump is a little crapper. [toilet]
A friend in Utah uses a chainsaw and a torch to make some pretty intricate carvings from wood. I don't believe he ever carved a crapper though. [ouch]
