If'n y'all watched the Super Bowl you might have seen this commercial - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6J_3Ev-kdY&feature=channel (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6J_3Ev-kdY&feature=channel) . ???
Gotta say that Audi sure diluted their message about a fuel efficient diesel with the 'Big Brother' crap.
What's scary to me is this scenario is not too far fetched in a near-time future where a 'we're gonna save you in spite of yourself' attitude is not only prevalent but the law of the land.
Too close to reality for me, and I am working to be more green all the time.
I think it was a terrible commercial on many levels.
Wait till this becomes reality . . . :(
Seems to me the driver of the audi was really putting his foot into it. Probably not fuel efficient . . .
Arrested for incandescent lightbulbs? Those %!@^ flickering florescents are to white and give me headaches.

This is one of my all-time favorite Super Bowl commercials, for this is the first time in a long time that a company had the audacity to poke fun at the global warming, carbon trading, twisty lightbulb folks. [rofl2] [rofl2]

"Twisty lightbulb folks" Love it. Gonna steal it, too! :D
Here's an opinion piece by Mark Steyn in regard to the message of the Audi Superbowl commercial, and some other stuff:
"So the message from Audi isn't "You are a free man. Don't bend to the statist bullies," but "Resistance is futile. You might as well get with the program."
