Title: concrete pier 6" connectors

hello all, i am new here but have been reading the forums for a while.
my question, i have clay soil (skiatook Oklahoma) and want to build my 20 x 30 cabin on a pier and post foundation.
whats the best method for piers in clay soil, and where can i get pier beam connectors to attatch my vertical 6x6 post.
(6x6 post from pier to beams)

They sell them at my local home depot for like 2 bucks each. Thats what I used with no problems what soever.

You should be able to find them in the concrete or lumber section of most big box stores.  They are usually with other steel framing additions like hangers, ties, and straps.

I believe most plans and designs for foundations are for clay soil conditions to be on the safe side.  Just check for what soil they are designed for.  If they are in the 2000 psf you should be fine.
