Title: Don's Book Corner re-visited
Post by: Homegrown Tomatoes on November 02, 2009, 09:18:56 PM
:)  Just read Raw Milk Revolution.  Balanced and well-written, and very interesting just to follow the politics surrounding raw milk and the way that the FDA goes after the small farmers selling raw milk legally rather than go after the big agri-businesses who gave us superbugs to begin with.

Also read Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day this week.  Yes, a cookbook, but after trying one of the recipes that was in TMEN a while back, decided to buy the book when I found it cheap on Amazon.  Some of the recipes make my mouth water just reading them, and the stories behind some of them are interesting.

FWIW, my (very large) family has drank nothing but raw cow and goat milk for close to 15 years and never got sick from it...
