I ran across this link on the MSN homepage this morning:

There are several related links on this page. The small cabin they show is really nice and sleek, but at 1200 square feet sort of on the large side of small. There is also a link to an easy, bargain office in a box shed, at 8' x10' and $6000. In my opinion, in countryplans doers standards, that seems kind of underwhelming and pricey.
$6000 for an 8x10 shed ??? Maybe they used 10 dollar bills as wallpaper?
Oh wait, "It's more than a building It's a lifestyle" that explains it.
I agree that the cabin they show is on the large side of small. What a joke. My family of 4 lived quite comfortably in a 1100 sf house, and that was considered a full sized house in 1970. ;)
It's a sad fact that we have not yet re-learned in this country what simple living really is.
And that gold-plated tiny office for $6000. :o I will consider my cabin build to be a failure if it costs more than $5000.
rofl They call that small? My new house is only 400 sf. My current house is 1300 sf and was considered normal size at the time it was built in the 1920's.
