Title: Smart power outlets
Post by: Redoverfarm on July 02, 2009, 07:27:21 PM
I think these would be benifical but I can see it is going to add to the cost of housing.  Then again it is "brained" by microprocessors and RFID tags.  I hope they are more dependable than my puter.

Pretty cool but what do they do about older products? I bet this is in the code in a few years.

In other news, North Korean computer hackers sent a virus loose on the US today that caused every home in America to burn to the ground at the same time.  This has puzzled Americans because they thought they were protected by the new "smart plugs" that would prevent fire.  Little did they know it was just another ploy to monitor and control what they use and then ultimately used against them.

I'll stick with regular plugs and common sense.   [frus]
