Title: A good quality, multi-purpose mask?
Post by: MikeT on July 02, 2009, 04:40:38 PM
I need to invest in a good mask or two.  I need to keep crap out of my lungs.  Not only is not pleasant, I am sure it is not healthy.  And this week I had a chest x ray and am now on antibiotics for pneumonia, so I need to be extra careful when sawing, sweeping, handling fiberglass, etc.

Once again, any suggestions of what to look for or what to avoid would be appreciated.

BTW: I have plenty of the throw away things....fine particles still seem to get into my breathing areas.

Look for one that has the seals around both the nose and mouth , ones that have replaceable cartridges. The paper surgical type do very little. Something similar to these.
