Fines of $5000 for not obeying, and fines of $500 for supplying false information????
Census have always been mandatory.
Just fill out your name and address and sign. Nothing else.. It's what I did last time. There were 3 forms. I got the long one and the questions were terribly personal. They can deal with it...
Despite all the saber rattling and fear mongering, the only thing the gummint is authorized to collect is the
NUMBER of people living at any given location.
QuoteHa, one of them (census worker) was heading up our drive yesterday. I stopped in the middle of the road, got out, told her she was on a private road, we were the only people living up it, and there were 4 of us. She started to say something else, I held up 4 fingers and said four. She asked if she could drive up and get a map point of the house. I said no. She asked if she could turn around. I said yes. I then followed her down the mountain and she hasn't been back.
For those that want to toe the(ir) line and play by the(ir) rules...do so (http://www.rexano.org/RegAgency/Public_Servant_Questionnaire%20_adapted_by_Bob_Hurt.pdf). ;)
Not me! I'm law abiding ::)
I mailed in my completed form last time. It just got lost in the mail I guess. Some little fellow kept coming by but I wasn't ever home!
I think mine got lost in the mail, too ???
With all the number crunchers they have; they know the answers before they are even asked. Why do they continually seek to be a pain in everyone's seat of the pants? Is the big question just to see if we will continue to walk lock step with Big Brother?

Whitlock directed me to your Public Servants Questionnaire. Great stuff. Working out of town I have not been able to keep up on all of the forum. Thanks for the info I saved it and printed it out. Now to study it over and memorize the majjor points. :)
well had my first visit today ;)
He was a nice young man who told me he was this the Census. I then explained that we'd already filled in and sent in our Census. He seemed a little confused but then asked if I had some time to do it again. I explained that all I had to do was fill in how many people were living in my home, he pointed to that part, I wrote down 04 and said "There, Done" and he asked but don't you want to fill in the rest too? The Questionnaire? To which I replied "The only thing I'm required to provide in accordance with the Constitution is the number of the people living in my home." He said "Really" I then offered him a pocket constitution to take with him ;)
He left with a new pocket Constitution after I showed him where to read and suggested someone else would be coming by again - to which I smiled and said "I have more pocket Constitutions to hand out" -- he said "98?" I smiled and he left.
What bothers me is the arrogance of what they are doing and the racists underpinnings of it all too. If we are all to be one country, one people, all Americans then who gives a rats arse what race you are? I don't and no one else should either.
