The Bad News: President Obama recently announced during his tour south of the border that he would support an international treaty called the "INTER-AMERICAN CONVENTION AGAINST THE ILLICIT MANUFACTURING OF AND TRAFFICKING IN FIREARMS, AMMUNITION, EXPLOSIVES, AND OTHER RELATED MATERIALS"
Treaties are the highest law of the land. They supercede even the Constitution, once signed. This particular one contains some reassuring language, but the fact remains that it could be considered a legal excuse to pass and enforce pretty much any laws deemed necessary by the administration to accomplish its purpose, no matter how draconian or unconstitutional. There is a similar U.N. treaty that has so far not been signed by the U.S. More on this at:

Watch for a push by this administration to push these treaties through the Senate, trying for an end run around our Bill of Rights, and another giant step toward a socialist global government.
Forewarned is forearmed. It's going to take a lot of concerted effort to successfully resist the internationalist agenda of our new executive branch. I hope we're up to the task.
