Title: Back from the farm
Post by: peternap on April 19, 2009, 04:32:37 PM
I just got back from the farm. Took way more pictures than I should but still got a lot of work done. These are at daybreak and sunset, over two days.

pretty pretty.

I never knew you had a pond on your place.  I just love farm ponds, how big is it, is it stocked,  Are you feeding or aerating?  Any plans for a fishing pier?

Crappies, smallmouth and rock bass. This narrows way down in spots and it's not unusual to see the water level jump 20 feet during a storm. I guess it just moves the catfish downstream.

Also looks like a good spot for a duck blind in among the cattails.
