Here it is, The Weekend.
The temperature is dropping, the winds are increasing. The forecast calls for a low around 24. Windy, with a west wind between 25 and 30 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 3 to 6 inches possible.
Then tomorrow it gets windier and colder.
Monday is scheduled to be sunny and 51 up in my mountains.
Jeeps loaded, winch is on the front, shovels in the back. We'll have to go check it out in the AM.
Saturday High 31, low 3.
Sunday High 32, low 13
Going to go out and see what we can do. Snowmachine, ice fish and maybe even set JCIs. Have to get there and see. I need a warm place and soon.
76 DEGREES, Not a cloud in the sky AND after I finished plowing, I called in a couple of turkeys for the fun of it (the season starts Next Saturday) ;D

The weather service was right and it was wrong.
Right: it was very windy and it did snow Saturday.
Wrong: it didn't snow much at all, the wind was gone by Saturday late afternoon.
Sunday and Monday were mostly clear with low winds, but cold; high of 40 Sunday and probably 50 today (after we left).
Snowed at my house last night, then turned to rain.
