Title: Neat Small LOG Cabin Project Blog
Post by: Pritch on March 12, 2009, 03:12:32 AM
I ran across this site yesterday and thouroughly enjoyed watching these fellows build their small (12'X24') log cabin in NE Mississippi.

http://www.oldplacecabin.com/ (http://www.oldplacecabin.com/)

The site is heavy on pictures and pretty light on details at this point, but maybe we can entice the builder to come share in the owner/builder forum . . .   :)

Wow, I love it! Completely rustic and old-fashioned; log joists, log rafters, (real) slab cabinets, no drywall, real chinking... You don't find cabins made like this too often anymore!

As stated, a very nice rustic project.

I just sent an email with this forum link in case the builder wants to stop in.

Cool, John!  I hope he responds, because I would love to pick his brain.
