6c is the temp they say it will hold.....that's 43f......

It's an evaporative cooler (desert dwellers know them well), repackaged for food use. The temperature is on the high side of recommended food storage temp. 40 degrees F is generally the max recommended, but 43 is better than whatever the room or outdoor temp is when you have no other choice.
