I have tried 4 times, keep getting this message:
"The upload folder is full. Please try a smaller file and/or contact an administrator."
can't send even one photo.
I did read the hints on Forum News, but they all seem to take about 18 steps. ??? or, the instructions allude to icons I don't seem to have. :-\
So, is there anyone else out there who went to school before cell phones were even a concept who has figured out how to send photos on this site?
Maybe I will try again tomorrow, especially if I get snowed in again. (yeah, we're light weights here in the Willamette Valley. Just a foot of snow & we're paralyzed.)
My daughter said Salem was about wiped out tonight.
You have to first put the photos into Photobucket.. You get the upload folder full message but actually there is no photo storage on our server.
Photobucket stores them free. Just start an account there - - load the photos there as you attempted to do here. Name or save them there, then after that is done just copy the last tag - The one that says IMG - on the bottom in Photobucket. When you paste that tag into your message here, it will appear after you post it.

That would be me. ;D I remember dial phones and when the phone company owned the phone; you rented it.
As Glenn more or less stated...
OK. You, nor anyone else, can upload photos ar anything via the "attachment" feature. That is a part of the forum software we can't get rid of, but we can disable it. It is disabled; it's not your fault it doesn't work for you.
To shoew a photo in a post you must first upload the image file to a web photo service such as photobucket.com (http://photobucket.com) There are others, but it is free, easy to use and many od us like it.
There is a photobucket tutorial in the Forum News section. Photobucket has changed their look and feel a bit since that was authored, but depending on your computer skill level it may be of help.
G/L we look forward to seeing your contributions. :)
I agree.... I use photobucket and it's really quick and easy.
