Good info on stairs in there. :)
Ya Jen's might want to review that article rofl before he attempts to write about stairs again.
[rofl2] No offense Jens, but that was a funny remark.
ah well...we all can't be journos! I can build em, and teach em, just can't type em d*
BTW, story poles work very well for other things too, i.e. when installing windows that need heads and sills aligned, as in multiples that are right next to eachother but not mulled at the factory; and then for setting siding and exterior trim details outside the house; and they can be good for cracking the young wiseass in the head, when he suggests to the old wiseass where he can stick his story pole [rofl2] spent too much time on commercial sites not to throw it back daddy-o

Hey Guys!
Thanks for the great on-line mag link. Very well done. The RJ bio was great and lots and lots of tool info. Also a quick tutorial in using Sketchup for railing designs.
I signed up!
The online issue has an appearance reminiscent of Fine Homebuilding.
Seems interesting, so thanks for the link.
