This has been another of those weeks that has steadily dragged me down.
Just one major issue and daily little things.
First, the computer crash and reload. It it is still being reloaded.
Then I thought I had a cracked water line but after looking everywhere except where I should have looked first, found the bladder had broken and rusted the housing on my pressure tank.
Then my sons basement flooded and I had to go pump that out.
Then my daughters dog got sick and needed to go to the vet. Since the company my son in law works for has laid everyone off, she couldn't afford it. We took him.
Then I got a call that my second ATV was fixed but instead of replacing my carburetor, he found the problem was in the fuel pump leaking into the manifold. Since he hadn't replaced the fuel pump on the others, it needed doing.
Then the big one. My neighbors son died. This is the same Neighbor that had lost her first son years ago, and her husband last year. They were the finest people I've ever known and she is really taking this one hard.
Then I got up this morning at 3:30 to go hunting. while hooking the trailer up (To take the just repaired ATV) I noticed something wrong with the hitch. It had sheared off 6 bolts on one side....so I assume they weren't hardened. I had to replace all of them on both sides.
I promised my wife I'd take her to the Grand Illumination in Williamsburg tomorrow evening but we have to go to the funeral home before that. We went to Costco yesterday and bought enough food to take care of all the visitors the neighbor will have this weekend.
Soooo, I guess tomorrow will be a full day too and on Monday, I have a lot of work to catch up on but since the funeral is on Monday, I guess I'll be playing catchup all week.
Peter, that's more than enough for a week! I trust things will take a turn for the better soon. Take care.
Rough week, Peter, but it has to get better.
I'd say there are a lot of people fortunate to have you as a a relative or friend.
