divided by 6.7 billion people on the planet.

It's a factor of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS for everyone on the face of the Earth!!

Why can the economy never be saved by giving that to the taxpayers?

yeah, just imagine what the economy would look like if our pols would have said "screw you" to the financial institutions and split the money between american citizens over 21? there would be new factories being built as we speak to manufacture all the things needed for the buying spree. not to mention new jobs. >:( >:( >:((been using the frowny face alot lately).
