The above is a seismic map produced at http://www-atlas.usgs.gov/natlas/Natlasstart.asp. The hotter the color the higher the chance of a severe earthquake.

This is only one type of map that can be produced. The site allows you to make maps with a multitude of informational content (see below for the outline). You can zoom in and out to get different levels of detail. (Tip, don't try to do too many things on one map as the layers will be in conflict and you won't be able to see them properly.)
