Title: Got Coal?
Post by: Woodswalker on October 24, 2008, 12:47:41 PM
Am soon going to pick up a used Godin wood/coal stove for heating my house.  Wondering if any of the NW readers know of a source to buy coal?  Also would appreciate comments from anyone with experience heating with coal or with this particular brand of stove.

Thanks.
Steve

PA-Builder, thanks for the link.  That's a very informative site.  Haven't located a source for coal out here in WA yet, but did find a Petite Godin Oval stove in nice shape at a good price.  Will be installing it soon, and looking forward to giving it a try.  Have plenty of firewood on hand for this winter, so searce for coal is not a pressing issue.

Looks like Seattle area has some mines.

My phone book has a listing in the Yellow Pages for - "COAL - Retail"
