Title: new to the forum
Post by: chico on October 22, 2008, 09:25:38 PM
Run across this forum and find it very informative.  I've been reading the different topics which I find helpful and easy to follow. I'm retiring soon and plan to build a cabin on 20 ac. in the country.  I really havent decided on what type of cabin yet but I'm exploring all posibillities.  I will start posting my project and hope to get some feedback and ideas on how to best proceed. Thanks

Hi Chico.  Welcome to the forum.

Most of John's plans are very adaptable as most have non-bearing interior walls so changes are easily made.

Chico, welcome! We have you in Tx now and that helps but, it's a big place and to answer specific questions you might
have in the future, it helps us to know with a little more accuracy where you are building. We usually ask that you put your location
next to your name so we can see when reading your questions. Certainly not mandatory, just helpful.
I'm about 60 miles SE of Dallas.
