Post by: John Raabe on August 13, 2008, 04:27:22 PM
This house was initially posted some time ago by Dwight Horan.

Here's a link to the forum posting. http://countryplans.com/smf/index.php?topic=4036.0

There has been so much interest in shed roofed designs recently that I have done a PDF printout of a 3DHA model based on this house.  Note, this is not the same house as above. It is different dimensions and the Dwight Horan project was the initial inspiration.

Download the one page PDF file (http://www.countryplans.com/Downloads/Double%20Shed%2026x30-S.pdf). Click and you will probably be able to open it directly (patience).

NOTE: Here is the current thread where we are discussing this project in the Owner Builder forum: http://countryplans.com/smf/index.php?topic=4036.0

For those of you who are PlanHelp members and want to download and use the 3DHA template file to play with your own version of the house here is the link:

Scroll about 1/3 of the way down the list, "26'x30' Double Shed Cabin".

John it might be cool to adapt your tiny getaway cottage to this style so a screen (sleeping) porch could be incorperated in the design.

Good idea. Part or all of the low slope area could be made into a screen porch.
