Title: Oil price manipulators
Post by: desdawg on July 24, 2008, 02:06:27 PM
These guys will be sorry, as I am sure they will be the token scapegoat for any wrongs that may have been done in the past by anyone. And I am sure there are plenty. But these are the ones that got caught with their hand in the cookiejar.

I doubt they'll get much more than a slap on the wrist. The markets are being manipulated on a much much large scale than this.

they certainly are pushing hard to find someone to blame.

Also consider this piece from bloomberg last night.  Seems they want to get oil back into the $80 range with this talk.

I think it's election year politicing, but I do hope they make a dent without turning anything else upside down.  Historically any meddling by congress doesn't end well.  crossing my fingers on this one.

Yeah but if they want to make an example of someone these guys stepped right up front & center. I would think they would be darn uncomfortable right now. I know I would be.
