Here's a few articles on the view of the USA by others.

I really don't know any of them personally. But some of the authors seem to be upset.
I like to see what the world thinks.
The leaving of the Wall Street wives was interesting. It takes a lot of money to keep a cutie married to an ugly millionare...and the world is interested enough to check it out. :)
I see they are also watching Osama and McSwine. [crz]
Thanks for the link, Scott - hadn't seen that one before.
Here is a memorable quote:
Until the U.S. gets a grip on its structural weaknesses, the result of bad governing, the world will be a turbulent place.
Germany gets our news before we do and they cover American topics our own media won't touch. I don't know how many times my wifes read me stories from the German news a full day or two before they show up here if they show up at all.
Likely won't show up at all -- that's why I look at all the unapproved sites.
Who decides which sites are approved? Is there a list?
If it's not the major media which is pretty well gov. controlled then its not really what they want you to see-- their stories don't always match.
Yeah - their drivel is even available online as MSNBC ABC AOL etc. They put through an occasional worthwhile story but that's the exception rather than the rule. Like the Brittany story. ::)
There are 5 or 6 major corporations that control the news everyone gets so big brother only has to frown at those companies and all news is filtered to his liking.
It was well planned. There are more listed but when you check their parent companies most come back to the major six or so and the rest are insignificant or unheard of.
So when did they repeal the laws against "monopolies"?
Seems to me big business and the government no longer obey any laws. They do whatever they want whenever they want. Without meaningful laws civilazation can't exist for long. Or maybe they have their own super secret laws that are different than the ones we have. I bet that's it.
They actually run a shadow government Scott -- the one that directs the policies of our visible nominal government.
