Title: Campain for Liberty
Post by: ScottA on July 19, 2008, 05:15:04 PM
In case you're not aware, Ron Paul has migrated his campain following into a new political action group. The Campain for Liberty is attempting to spread the word. Based on the contitutional platform Ron Paul used in his presidential primary bid. http://www.campaignforliberty.com/ (http://www.campaignforliberty.com/)

They had a march/rally at the capitol last weekend where an estimated 20k showed up. No MSM coverage of any kind but they have video on their website if you're interested. http://www.campaignforliberty.com/blog/?p=175#more-175 (http://www.campaignforliberty.com/blog/?p=175#more-175)

Never ceases to amaze me how 20,000 people can show up to a protest march and there is no media coverage...

Brett Farve thinks about making a comeback and they interrupt the evening news.

I will be so glad when Fox news is defunct

Brittany runs over a photographer's foot en route to a custody hearing and that qualifies as "breaking news".   d*

It really is deceptive on the part of the media  >:(  to not report an event like that....  but then the majority still believe everything the MSM report & really don't want to be confronted with the truth - it would require something more from them...   [scared]

Well, it is just like that AP poll that I participated in last week....  I talked their ears off both times they called, but when I look at the articles that came out of it, they act like there is no dissent whatsoever.  Furthermore, their poll isn't based on truth... people think that  the government needs more food inspectors think so because they've been listening to the media reports saying that we don't have enough inspectors.  Truth is, doesn't matter if we had a million, they couldn't make the food one bit safer.

It's very easy to lead most people to belive most anything. Repeat it enough times and get someone to echo and they'll fall for just about anything. There are so many lies floating around now that it's a real challenge trying to filter out the likely truth. You have to take everything you see and hear and study it to determine who stands to gain what before you can make an educated guess at the truth. Sometimes I don't even care if it's true or not if it's got an agenda I dismiss it as propaganda.

Scott

It is all about the money... follow the money and who stands to make it and you can usually get right to the truth of anything in the news

It's not always about money. Sometimes it's about forcing their point of view on everyone else.

Yeah, but their point of view often has something to do with getting mroe money from the average american taxpayer

I'm watching this group closely for a trojan horse. While they sound good on the surface something has got to be up since the media is now covering them. I'm always sceptical when something looks too good to be true.

I agree with you, Scott...  will be interesting how things pan out...  it's hard to trust anything or anyone in politics, although I like RP's message & his record it pretty pristine compared to anyone else that I've seen.
